More Phishing – Fake iTunes Invoice Receipt
Unfortunately, the online phishing attacks keep coming.
Here is another fake email from Apple connected to an iTunes invoice receipt for a purchase that you didn’t make.
You immediately think “I didn’t buy that! My iTunes account must have been hacked!”
The email is designed to scare you into clicking the Report a problem and Cancellation links within the message. However, all the links within the email go to the same fake site and will try to collect your personal details and credit card information, and most probably will give your further instructions on how to change your iTunes passwords – which will lead you on to another phishing website.
Be very very careful with these types of phishing attacks – check the message source and don’t trust links within emails.
